Dan Rocha Design started in 2018 from my desire to bring 22 years of experience in graphic design, design management, and corporate strategy to smaller companies in my community. Before starting Dan Rocha Design, I worked as a Packaging Design Manager, leading a team of seven designers and engineers. Together we worked closely with product, marketing, and logistics teams. Creating innovative packaging design campaigns we gave brand owners control of outsourced packaging manufacturing, brand consistency, and supply chain. I have also worked as a Design Manager. I was responsible for maintaining the brand voice across multiple product lines. I supported the global sales and product team on product design, print design, and trade show materials.

Are you available to hire?
Currently, I am accepting freelance projects, contract and retainer work. Retainer work is a great way for me to give your business priority over the duration of a longer project.
What are your fees?
My fees vary based on the project details and deliverables. I always offer a free 1-hour consultation to understand the details before preparing a proposal and statement of work. Fees are agreed upon upfront, you will never have any surprises when you work with me. Consultations can be in person or remote.
What does a free consultation involve?
My initial consultation is a chance to get to know each other better and for you to talk about your business and project needs. It is a chance for each of us to decide if we are a good fit to partner on your project.
Where are you located?
My home based office is in a small town located just outside Portland, Oregon. I work with clients in many geographies and can pretty much work from anywhere that has WiFi and good coffee. Is Portland is like Portlandia you may be wondering? Sigh, it’s pretty spot on…
